What I Learned about Scholarly Research
Shello turtles! This week I learned about scholarly research! I didn't know that this was a thing until recently. I guess it's a good thing I took notes about it. From what I learned, scholarly research is like a thorough and careful investigation carried out by experts in a specific field. The main goal is to add new information, check if existing ideas are correct, or answer specific questions. Unlike just looking for casual information on google, scholarly research follows strict rules and methods. It starts with looking at all the previous work on a topic to find what's missing and figure out what questions to explore. Then, researchers might run experiments, do surveys, or analyze data to get important answers. Usually, they gather this information of people who fall under the category they are experimenting on.
