Halloween Makeup

 Shello turtles!

Hey there! I hope your week is fantastic! Something exciting happened to me—I wore makeup for the first-time last week! It felt amazing, especially because I usually have to wear a mask for my job. The full mask was causing a weird rash on my face, which never happened last year. I guess it's because I haven't taken a break from wearing it at all. Last year, I didn't work as many days, so I think my skin is not happy with me working so much now. But the best part is, I can now express so much more of my personality! People can see me smiling and even laugh at them, which is so liberating! Shoutout to Birdy, my makeup artist—he's doing a fantastic job! He's still getting the hang of doll makeup, but I think he nailed it. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next! So, if you can, come visit me while I'm working, I promise I won't scare you too hard...or maybe I will. It just depends on the day because Saturdays are very busy. I just hope to see Randy at the end of the night to tell me that the last group went through.

Working in a haunted house may sound super cool and fun, right? Well, it is for the first hour, but it's still a job. We have to handle customers and try to stay sane throughout the night because it gets pretty intense. Sometimes, I need to step out for about 5 minutes just to catch my breath. The night feels really long, especially when dealing with groups of customers who aren't very nice. It doesn't make much sense to be rude to us actors when you're paying for the experience. It's better to enjoy it instead of letting your money go to waste. But hey, it's your money, and if you end up getting kicked out, it's still paying me, so no problem on my end. If you're going to do it, might as well have a good time. But I guess that's just the worker in me talking. I just hope it'll get better next week since it is Hell Week. Wait, never mind, it's Hell Week which means it's going to get worse. I hope people will behave themselves.
